trying to install Logitech QuickCam Chat... installation starts and then disappears. Portions of it are installed but nothing works. I've disabled all spyware/virus/firewall programs as instructed. OS is XP Home Edition.

- In the Logitech folder there is a Webcame folder. In the Webcam folder there is a Config and a Read Me. No uninstall file there. Also not listed under Add/Remove Programs.
Uninstall all logitech software Start > Computer >> Local disk (C) >> Program files >> Logitech Delete Logitech folder Unplug webcam Close all programs Install software from here http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/435/281&hub=1&selectedcrid=405&selectedcid=281&cl=us,en

If you have 'New Hardware Recognition' on your computer, uninstall all the logitech software - plug in the webcam and reboot your computer, do not start any programs if the new hardware is recognised and allow the software to be loaded automatically.
