Stuck at the Configurating updates page

alright, whenever you restart the computer press "F8" key again and again . you will get the option safe mode. select the safe mode option and press enter key. login with your user account and click on start control panel and you will get two option over there" security center" or automatic update" click on security center or automatic update and select the option "notify me but don't download update for me" and restart the computer in normal mode. if you still get the same problem then choose the the third option "turn off automatic updats" and restart the computer. you should be able to work on your computer.
