Adjusting the seat

I got this from a friend and don't have the instruction book. How do you adjust the seat from a laying down to a sitting position? I see a red tab that when you pull it down it moves the seat but don't see a way to secure it in the upright position.

Thanks for any help you can give me.

I am looking at buying this system, so I've been doing lots of research on it. I've read several reviews from people who are upset that the seat never is fully upright. The baby wants to grab food or something from the tray and cannot reach. Also, templetont, I discovered that the rubber "button hole" tab on the side is for securing the car seat to the stroller. It clips down in the stroller, but that extra tab helps to stabilize the car seat. It may not be as great as the Chicco seat that clicks into the stroller, but it's better than the Graco systems that have nothing like that and the only thing holding the car seat to the stroller is where it clips onto the tray!!
Hope that helps!

I'm having the same dilemma. I just got this at a consignment sale. It seems in perfect condition. I think that the amount of sitting/reclining is only what you get by pulling the red tab. I don't think it is meant to sit all the way up. It loosens the same as you would loosen a belt strap. I wish it had a locking mechanism.
I can't figure out what the rubber "button hole" looking tab is on the left side near the front hinge of the overhead shade.

Adjust carb on poulan pro backpack blower

Hi randal book..
Before you remove or try to adjust your low and high speed jets you should always count the number of turns it takes to lightly seat the idle mixture screw and high speed needle adjusting screws.
Be sure to write the number of turns down on a piece of paper so you will know how many turns from the seated position to open the jets when you go to reinstall them, or if you remove them for cleaning or replacement.
If you have aready tried to adjust them then the adjustments below should get it running for you for final adjustment when warm.
Normally you will adjust your idle jet to 1/2-3/4 turn open from the bottom seated position.
Then you will re-adjust the low speed of the engine when the engine is warm by turning the idle screw in or out till the engine runs smoothly at idle speed, around 1200 RPM.
The high speed jet is adjusted to 1 1/2- 1 3/4 open from the bottom seated position, after the engine is warm.
Then re-adjusted by turning the High Speed jet adjustment screw in or out till the motor runs smoothly at high speed.
Alway use the "lightly seated" method if you have not changed the screw settings.

Seat position not adjusting on the chassis.

It usually does this if the frme is not clicked onto the chassis correctly, push it down to click it into place. If this doesnt work might be the buttons need replacing they can be bought as a spare part and are easy to cahnge (one screw) Hope this helps

Hi, on the reverse side of the seat is a strap that is fastened by a clasp. By squeezing the clasp, you allow the straps to pass through the clasp, and adjust the strap length. By doing this the angle of the seat can be adjusted

Button to lay evenflo stroller down

I own two evenflo strollers- from the pictures I believe it's the same exact stroller. Mine don't have "buttons" to lay down the seat.. instead they have a "cord" like a belt in the back towards the top- you can let some out to lay the seat down- or else pull it tight and it will 'raise' the seat to a sitting position! The 'belt/rope" for adjusting has a D-ring on the end of it- so look for that towards the top center in the back (under the handle bar).

On the back of the the seat back is a plastic tab connecting two lanyards/cords. These cords are used to adjust the seatback angle from the recline to full up-right position.
