What model Kodak camera? Are you sure you have an SD card, 2GB or smaller? Many Kodak models won't work with higher-capacity SDHC cards.

Your older camera can only use 2GB or less standard SD card. It can not be used with the new 4GB or higher SDHC cards. Fortunately, 2GB cards are relatively inexpensive these days, and may be found on Amazon if your local store no longer carries them.

A stuck shutter is another common failure mode for digital cameras. The symptoms of a stuck or "sticky" shutter are very similar to CCD image sensor failure. The camera may take black pictures (for shutter stuck closed), or the pictures may be very bright and overexposed, sometimes with lines, especially when taken outdoors (for shutter stuck open). These can usually only hold 2 to 4 gig cards. Many only do 2 gigs or less. On the other hand some can handle more memory but only certain brand names.

you can delete bulk pictures from your camera by connecting it to a computer using a USB cable then use the window live photo gallery to Select all the pictures you want to delete and hit delete ..i think thats a better option tom do that.hope this helps

I have kodak easyshare model cx6230
when turning on , it gives the message on the screen that " camera temp is high and will be turn off" and after a few seconds it automatically turns off.

Pl give the reasons and solution for repairs , if any.
