Keyboard buttons stop working in games when I move the mouse

The problem with my microsoft wireless optical desktop 1000 is that when I am playing games like crysis or assassins creed I get to move my character around with the keyboard buttons but when I want to look around using the mouse, keyboard buttons just stop working, I mean, I still have my finger pressing the button, but it automatically stops responding so I just have to press the god damn button again for it work. Does anyone know how to solve this problem? Thanks,
