Question about RCA M5001 Digital Media Player

RCa M5001 When I connect the Rca M5001 with my pc through usb to charge, it shows after sometime " I2C Write failed". Please help me.

This unit charges via the USB cord when it is directly connected to your computer or other device with a USB port. You can also purchase a home AC adaptor but as far as I am aware this does not come as standard with the unit itself.

Rca screen help


On the back of the the mp3 player is a reset switch.
Hold that down about 15 seconds.
If that does not work go to the RCA website.
Download the latest firmware.
Plug mp3 player into pc.
Install the new firmware.
Keep it plug to computer for about 1 hour to charge the battery a little.

simple. The Pearl Series for RCA is AAA battery powered. You cannot charge it through your USB port.

If you go to the RCA website and go to support then type in your product you can download everthing that was on the cd providing you registered your player within 30 days after you got it!!!
