many times this happens what u r saying...... the most probable cause could be non-availability or very week availability of network signals..... IT COULD be also due to any change you have made to IP adderess so first get conformed of the IP adderess u are using
what is your Windows OS? XP or Vista? to activate the wireless, press Fn F2 or just look for the wi-fi switch located above the Function keys or sometimes on the edge of the laptop with a picture of wireless signal or wave or antenna that resembles wireless.
It sounds like an overheating problem. When it is booted, does it run ok other than just being slow? Check your cooling fan and make sure it is running and not stopped up. That is a number one symtom of overheating is freezing and rebooting by itself. Have you expierenced that problem also? There is a free program called "Motherboard Monitor 5" that will monitor the temp for you and set off an alarm when it is getting to hot. Check that problem first. Hopes this helps!
