Diplomat dishwasher blows fuses

I have a diplomat dishwasher it was working then in mid cycle it blew the house fuse I replaced the fuse in the plug and switched the house fuse back on when turning on the dishwasher it blew again, I was told there is a heater reset button on the bottom under the thermostat so i have taken it apart and the button does not seem to be a reset is it likely to be the thermostat?

Have had the same problem, trips sometimes during use and trips when turning it on from socket above the worktop. Had the engineer out four times, replaced motor, dispenser, electric housing and still trips, they have now condemed it and are sending a replacement, hopefully it will be ok. Matt.

Hi, my Siemens iq500 dishwasher cuts out mid cycle usually towards the second half of the cycle, it switches off and some times the display indicates the period of time remaining of the incomplete cycle....

My name is Peter. I am a retired field service appliance technician.

It sounds like you had a bad thermostat and then blew the thermal fuse.

These parts are in the back of your washer, The thermal fuse is on you hot air duct and your thermal fuse is on the opposite side.
It could look like the following:

Diplomat ADP8342 won't fill with water

Assuming the water tap is open and the water pressure is correct, it is likely the inlet water valve in the dishwasher is faulty. If you hear a click at the time the cycle starts but still there is no water then the inlet valve needs to be replaced. Also check the inlet hose for any kinks or blockage of the filter attached to the tap inlet.
The inlet valve looks like this item

No power. Will not turn on

It may have tripped the internal breaker, and or the house circuit breaker. Go tot the house fuse box and check that first.

Hi do you cover advice on Diplomat diswashers? I understand they are Whirlpool products rebranded. I have an F4 code fault that comes up mid cycle on an 8332 model

this is a drain fault code..I would suggest to clear out the sump and check that no one has replaced a disposal and forgot to knock out the drain plug...check for blocked drain hose...

Hotpoint Dishwasher BF1620 blew the main fuse circuit in fuse box during mid cycle wash? Re-set main power fuse circuit but now as soon as Dishwasher switched on immediately blows main kitchen power fuse...

This is happening because you have a very bad fault, a Phase to Earth short, problem. Leave machine UNPLUGGED, Breaker/Fuses OUT. do NOT use it, nor Touch it, It is possible to get severe electric shock. PLEASE get a registered serviceman to inspect this unit.

Dryer shut off mid cycle and will not restart

It doesn't work at all If your dryer doesn't work at all, it could be because of problems with: Power from the house Door switch Thermal fuse Wiring Power from the house Check to see whether there's power getting to the dryer. Is it plugged in? If you plug something else into the outlet, does it work? If not, check for a blown fuse or tripped circuit breaker. Door switch If the door switch or the door-switch actuator is defective, the dryer won't work and you need to replace the failed component. The switch is inside the dryer main housing near the door frame. Sometimes you need to raise or open the top or front of the dryer to reach the switch. Thermal fuse On many dryers, there's a thermal fuse (a heat-sensitive fuse that blows if the dryer overheats) mounted to the exhaust duct inside the back cover panel. The fuse is about an inch long. It's usually embedded in black resin and mounted in a white plastic housing.

If the fuse has blown, it has no continuity. When this happens, your dryer either just stops heating, or it doesn't work at all. Be sure to inspect the venting/heating system before replacing the fuse to put the dryer back into operation. (You can't re-set this type of fuse.)
Wiring Often the main wiring connection from the house, at the dryer, burns and the connection breaks. In this has happened to your dryer, you need to replace the power cord and the terminal block inside the dryer to which the wire is attached.

Dishwasher will not run. I have checked the circuit breaker and it seems fine. does the dishwasher have a reset button?

Hello there:
My dishwasher will not work at all. Investigate these four areas if your dishwasher is not working at all:

Power Supply

Your dishwasher may not be receiving any power. It is somewhat difficult to check for power at the plug outlet because the plug for a dishwasher is usually behind the unit. You should make sure all the circuit breakers of your circuit breaker panel are in the correct positions, or check to make sure no fuses of your house fuse panel are blown.

Door Switch

A properly functioning door switch will shut your dishwasher off when the door is opened. A defective door switch may not allow your dishwasher to operate at all. Examine the door switch and test it. If it is inoperable, it will have to be replaced.

Cycle Selector Switch

It isn't very common, but it is still possible that your dishwasher's cycle selector switch has become defective. Test the switch to determine if it is the cause of your problem. Replace it with a new one if it is.

Timer Motor

Your dishwasher timer will not function if its motor is defective. And if your timer is not functioning properly, then the dishwasher itself will not function properly. Test your dishwasher's timer motor, and if it is broken, you can replace either the entire timer assembly or just the timer motor.

My smeg dwf 64 sse blew the main fuse yesterday. The machine was up to its rise stage on program 8 then the breaker went. Every time I switch the main back on it blew. I have managed to stop it...

Your element was initially short circuit, which caused circuit breaker trip. It is now open circuit and timer will not advance because water has not reched required temperature, recommend thermostat replacement also.
