Toshiba laptop a215-s6804 built-in speakers play when headphones are plugged in. Already downloaded latest driver......did not work ......took restore disk and reset driver and it worked for a while but is now back to both entities on when headphones are plugged in.

- Vista Home. The problem is probably a bad socket as posted by some other "Helper". I did change the driver again and it seems OK. I am going to do a re-install of the OS in a week.

The problem is not a software/driver issue. It's the actual socket, inside is a small switch, when you insert the headphones, the switch should turn off the main speakers. If it is bent or broken they stay connected. A new socket is the only solution as they are too small ti fix.

I have a aspire one netbook model no. kav60. I have both the pxe-e63 and pxe-m0f errors display when i first boot up. when i go to the device manager it is showing the ethernet controller and network controller drivers are missing. i assume this is related to my inability to connect to the internet. please, what is going on?! how can i fix this?! any/all help is appreciated... thanks
