Hi ive a peugeot 206cc 02 reg, the STOP light keeps flashing ive checked the normal oil and water but alls ok so whats the problem still runs fine and temp stays where it should??? any tips??

Peugot 206 stop light keeps coming on oil ok water fine and run ok any ideas and is it ok to drive

    hi...i have got the same problem on my 206...it may be an electrical fault or the coolant temperature sensor which is faulty...

Why alternator belt making noise specially when engine is cold?(on 206 1.4)
noisy alternator belts generally indicate out of tension limits or old and cracked and in need of replacement. Inspect the belt and check for cracks ,frayed edges and loose. As the belt heats up it tends to grip better but the problems will still, be there.
