If you are trying to connect the xbox to the internet and you have a router installed. you can connect to the internet by connecting the xbox to the router with an ethernet cable. If you are trying to connect it directly to a computer to share its internet connection, then you would have to enable internet connection sharing and may need a crossover ethernet cable instead. If you reply with which method you are wanting to use I can probably give you a little more instruction on it.

You should have a box in the configuration dialog for the Cricket saying something like "Allow other network users to connect through this computers internet connection". Be sure this box is checked.
