How can i get rid of a trojan horse downloader?

I use AVG Free Edition in order to protect my system against viruses, trojans etc. and comodo firewall. Since last week the AVG is showing me a message in witch it says:Threat Detectet while opening file: C:\WINDOWS\system32\dfrgu.dll -> Trojan horse downloader.Generic6.WGF. I have the options to select ignore, Heal, Move to vault. When i select Heal or Move to Vault it says me that the object healed and then it asks me to restart the system in order to complete the healing. The problem is that it keeps showing that message no matter how many times i select heal and restart the system. The problem is always there. What am i supposed to do?

How to Remove Trojan Horse Virus Quickly from Your PC?

Want to learn how to remove trojan horse virus from your computer quickly? This problem has affected most people throughout the world, and fortunately there are good solutions to this. Almost every computer user would come across in a malicious attack, which may be a virus, spyware or adware, etc.

What is actually a Trojan horse?

The biggest difference of a Trojan and a virus is a Trojan that can not reproduce the opposite of how viruses are capable of. Trojan Horse would be disguised executable files and attempts to install itself when you start. Many unsuspecting users to open these files, especially when they are assigned another interesting file or download someone else who feel they can download from the Internet. These Trojans are the name of the public favorite items (games, movies, names, etc.) and to attract the user to install a PC has become sores.

How to remove a Trojan virus quickly from your PC?

The best solution would be to download and run a scan with antivirus and antispyware software. It is able to run a scan of your system and thus allows users to clean spyware, adware, viruses or other malware that was discovered. It does its job automatically and not require the user to have technical knowledge. If you have such software, it is very important that you update it frequently to ensure it has capacity to defend itself against the latest threats. When my protection software has run a full scan, I restarted my PC at home, and it was like new again after.

Trojan Horse Removal

A virus is program that has malicious content in it and replicates itself and a Trojan horse is program that will only work if the user executes it. Sometimes, a Trojan horse covers itself as a fake folder while in fact, it's an .exe file.
The good thing about Trojan horse is that it is not that hard to get rid of them. But the bad thing about Trojan horse is that it is a little bit difficult to find them.
Although, it does not corrupt files or delete data stored on your hard disk until you execute it. Once executed, it will allow the hackers to indentify your credit card number, social security number, bank account details or some other private information.
You can delete or remove the hidden Trojan horse with the help of antivirus software. Either, you can also try the manual process to delete it or you can follow these steps:
STEP 1 Open the System Information Utility (msinfo32.exe). You can find the System Information Utility by typing “msinfo32.exe” in ‘Run’. This program lists all the processes running on any Windows system, even those processes that are hidden from the task list. Now open your virus scanner and run the executable or .dll through it.
STEP 2 Open your antivirus software and run a virus scan. If you don't have a antivirus software installed, download AVG Anti-Virus Free Edition 7.5. And run a scan using it. After the scanning process is completed, delete the value that was detected from the registry (before doing this step, take a backup of the registry files):
A) Click ‘Start’ > ‘Run’.
B) Type "regedit".
C) Click "OK".
D) Go to the subkey:

E) Now delete any value from the right pane that was detected during the scan process.
F) Exit the Registry Editor.

System infected with trojan virus

dont worry these trojans are usually harmless and dont do much its not really a virus as such its more a tracking virus that some websites have on their site so they can spam your inbox and is usually easy to get rid of your virus scanner if you have one should delete it for you if you run a scan disk... if you dont have a antivirus go download avg free edition
AVG Free
also download another program called spybot search and destroy it is a handy program that checks your whole computer for any malware

Trojan dropper agent

Try this little gem, Malwarebytes, this is the best that I have found, and it is what I use. I have never had any false positves or any other problem with it at all. It is really a great program that I recommend to anyone who needs to get rid of malware.

If you need anti-virus protection as well I would try this one, AVG-Free, it is the best one that I have found. If you do have any anti-virus program you should get rid of it before you install AVG or any other anti-virus prtogram, especially if it was not protecting you system very well, and you only need to have one good anti-virus program running on your computer.

I would also suggest installig Spywareblaster, it does not scan for malware or viruses, but it does block you from connecting to some really malicious web sites.

These are all free programs that I personally use, and they are all top notch in performance, they do exactly what they say they do and they do it very well.

AVG free edition should do the trick, but the safest way to get rid of a virus is reformatting your hard drive.

Antivirus is basically a protection against viruses....

Basically it protects your pc from worms, trojans and viruses...

A computer worm is a self-replicating computer program. It uses a network to send copies of itself to other nodes (computerterminals on the network) and it may do so without any userintervention.

A Trojan horse, also known as a trojan, is a piece of malware which appears to perform a certain action but in fact performs many different forms of codes.

A computer virus is a computer program that can copy itself and infect a computer without permission or knowledge of the user.

Trojan horse virus' can be very tricky to get rid of sometimes. AVG is one of the best out there for this but sometimes it cannot do it all. It just depends on what kind of virus it is. First of all, run a complete scan with "Spybot Search & Destroy". It is a free spyware removal tool. Make sure the dat files are up to date on all of these cleaners. The run a scan usin "AdAware". It is a free adware removal tool. Then after both of them have run, run a complete virus scan again with AVG. Most virus' out there now are in the form of spyware and adware and are downloader trojans. They download files in the background without your knowledge and really lag your computer. You will also get lots of pop ups while surfing the internet. I hope this helps. Let me know how it turns out?
