Question about Bosch Logixx WFT 2806 Front Load Washer/Dryer

Open Question

WFT 2830 rinse cycle

Sorry but I have this problem with the above mentioned model and I can not find this model on this page......When the maschine is filling with water in the beginning of the rinse cycle; just before it is full it will stop and the lights will blink and a fault number will display in the window of the timer. I think it is F3. When I switch the maschine off by turning the knob and then back on again the water will run for about 15 seconds and then the wash mashine will work perfect

SOURCE: "tap water closed?" message

Plug off the wall. Check the inlet tubes into your machine (after shutting off wall valve) for any blockage or clogging, both ends of the pipes. Refix carefully with correct threading. Turn on before next wash fully; and after wash turn off valve. It could also be that your wall valve is not on fully when you begin your wash.

And dont forget to rate me pl.

SOURCE: After washing a load of laundry, a light came on

Hello,

Welcome to FixYa.

The E13 error code on the WFMC series Bosch washer`s refer to a drainage problem, as you may or may not already know. ( or in Bosch terms "pump time exceeded" )

What you may have is either a clogged pump, improper detergent being used, ( must use "HE"/lo-sudsing detergent ) hence suds not allowing a proper drain cycle, or wires loose at the pump...the later being the least likely.

You haven`t mentioned if you`ve checked the pump.

Anyway, here`s the most likely way to remedy a E13 code.

**Unplug the washer from the wall or turn off the breaker before attempting any repairs**

Get some towels and if possible a wet/dry vac. If the machine drained, it won't be too bad. If your machine is stuck full of water, that sucks...hopefully you won't get too wet. ( maybe you`re lucky enough to be close to a floor drain )

  1. Locate the round door on the front of the machine (about 6" in diameter, lower right corner)
  2. Find a drill bit or small screwdriver that fits in the hole in the round door.
  3. Insert the bit into the hole in the door. It will push in a tab, it doesn't take much force. Rotate the hole (clockwise) to 6'oclock and it should come free. (the edges are very sharp so be careful or wear chain-mail gloves).
  4. Once the door is out of the way you'll be greeted by a 3-4" plastic cap with wings so you can unscrew it by hand. ( you should also see a red ring with a string attached, if you pull this the door should unlatch, but getting the water out first is usually a good plan ) There is a small collector lip at the bottom of the cap, that is where you can hold the wet/dry vac to catch the water. Unscrew slowly so you don't get flooded, until it is unscrewed all the way out.
  5. Now pull out the trap and visually inspect the inside of the pump as well as the filter/trap. Hopefully you'll find the item/debris that initiated the error code.
  6. After removing any debris or obstruction`s re-install the button trap/lint filter and plug the washer in to power or reset the breaker and give it a test.
  7. Run a load and watch for leaks. Leave the pump access door off until you are sure you screwed the cap in tight and there are no leaks.
Ultimately you may have a faulty drain pump, but I would certainly start by performing the things I listed first.

Let me know if you require further assistance and if not and this solves your problem, please rate the solution I provided accordingly.

Thank you for coming to "fixya" and good luck.

Brand new roper washing machine model # RTW4440VQ2 the cold water is very slow filling hot is fine

This model of washer has something called an Automatic Temperature Control. This means the washer puts water into the tub at specific tempreatures instead of just 100% cold, or 100% hot. Be sure and check that the hot and cold fill hoses are connected to the proper places on the back of the washer. It's possible that the ATC (mentioned above) is causing the washer to fill slowly on the cold setting.

Kenmore washer 80Series water leak

First of all, you never want to tip this machine over, it can cause oil to leak from the transmission. The best way to locate the leak is to fill and run the machine with the cabinet removed. Begin by removing the two trim caps on either end of the control panel, they clip on, and should pop off by hand or a slight pry with a flat screwdriver. Then, remove the two screws securing the panel to the cabinet and flip the panel up. There should be two clips securing the cabinet to the frame (gold colored). Pop out these clips with a screwdriver for leverage. Next disconnect the wire harness from the lid switch connector on the cabinet. The cabinet should now be ready to pull off the frame. Plug the machine back in and set it to run a normal cycle, let it fill and agitate, (some models will not agitate without the lid switch being closed, in which case you will need to use a jumper wire). Biggest problem areas are the Pump, water valve, hoses, or possibly the plastic tub itself.

Display says system will be filled with water but nothing happens

I solved the problem. The hot water escape was blockt by a piece of lime. So the pressure was to strong to let water in the system. You have to dick with a little needle in the small hole of the escape. That´s it.

Leaky float valve

Teresa, the water fill is usually a timed fill and the float assy. is a safety device to cut power to the fill valve in the event the dishwasher keeps filling. ( In most models). Sounds like your initial fill is just above the float lever actuator and dripping. Check the level of the dishwasher to make sure that the water is not higher toward the front. Catriver..post back.
