Touch screen not working on ds after using action replay

My daughter has the action replay. She used it for about a week then the touch screen wasn't working right. It would work to accept the warning and select which option you want (pictochat, ds, etc) but wouldn't work to change worlds(Mario), select the flower power, etc. We stopped using the action replay for a while. The ds started working fine today and as soon as my daughter started using the action replay the touch screen started acting up. Any suggestions?

SOURCE: Action Replay Version 1.52 not loading my animal crossing wild world.

yo i know exactly what to do
you know how there is that one code that is the (M) code... well it needs to be in there and it cant be in a folder. i dont know what the code is but you know that your action replay will work when it says that there is 1 code already activated in the action replays start screen so if you dont have the (M) code by its self and on your action replay it wont work

When i turn my ds on it goes to the action replay before anything pops up it turns white even before datel shows up

    1. Remove all games from the Nintendo DS.

    2. Turn the system on by pressing up on the POWER switch.

    3. Tap the screen using the stylus when the "Touch the Touch Screen to continue" message appears.

    4. When the main menu appears, tap the stylus on the Settings Menu Panel at the bottom middle part of the screen.

    5. Tap the Options icon.

    6. Tap the Start-up Mode icon.

    7. Tap the top box for "M Manual Mode" and tap the "Confirm" rectangle.

    8. Wait for the confirmation message to disappear, then tap "Go Back," then "Quit," then "Yes" to exit. The unit will shut down automatically to save the settings.

I accidentally deleted every thing in my action replay ds

The way to restart the action replay is to hold down A and B (while the DS is off) and then turn on the DS (still holding) and when says the touch here to continue just before the action replay starts hold down start and select. While holding down all four buttons there will be a pause and the screen will turn white. After that the action replay will be reset.

Action replay input code buttons

Have you tried just using the Normal DS buttons rather than the touch screen? I don't know how bad your touch screen is calibration is for your AR (mines pretty close to fine), but if you find that the touch-screen is frustrating you too much, just use the normal DS buttons. Sure it will be a bit slower, but it won't be as frustrating.
