Problem over sim contacts

You should sync the contacts data on your sim with your windows address book (on your PC, for exap[le in Outlook express) and then use itunes to sync the data from Windows Address Book into the iPhone. This way, you get all the data stored on your sim into the iPhone, without needing the iPhone to directly be reading the sim data.

If you have an unblocked iphone and have put your old sim card in, then your iphone won't read the sim. All phone numbers are stored on the iphone not your sim.
Ive tried a few ways to read it but no success. Sorry.

Check under "All packages or Recent packages" download and install the "ISIM" software by using the installer app. on your iphone! there, problem solved. n.b you won't be able to do much with it but you'll see your sim contacts.
