HELLO THERE
First you will need to remove the plastic strip in front of the keyboard (closest to the monitor)
once that has been removed you will see 3 screws they need to be removed now the boadr will lift up and come out but be very carefull the ribbon that attached to it is very dselicate and can easily rip just simply slide the ribbon out of the housing. and that is it now just put the new keyboard ribbon in and slide the keyboard in place and replace the screws and than replace the plastic piece and you are done ok?
best regards michael

My fujitsu lifebook s6010 will not start in normal mode after system restore

Run the Check Disk Utility

To run the check disk utility you will need a repair disc ora operating system disc. Put the disc in the cd drive and boot fromit. You want to get to the Dos Command Prompt (Black screen with whiteletters) and type the following command: chkdsk /r
Check disk will run well over an hour or two and you will notice thepercentages going from high to low, this is normal. Let it run tocompletion. Then reboot machine.

If check disk fails to solve your problem you might have to reinstall windows.Try doing a Repair Install that way you don't loose your data, documents, music, pictures, videos or programs.

In windows xp you get to the dos command prompt by selecting R for repair whenthe options appear.

In Vista and Windows 7 you want to get to the recoveryconsole and look down at the bottom of the window for the Dos Command.

Hello Yogi, Here is the Fujitsu Lifebook Driver's & Downloads Website Link.. You will find any/all Current Updates Available for Your System there.. OK? I did not see a BIOS Update for your model listed, so I don't believe that you will need to do that one. But there are other Updates for you to do anyways. GOOD LUCK TO YOU.. OH, AND PLEASE DO NOT FORGET TO RATE MY SOLUTION. THANK YOU.

S6010 will not charge battery and will not work on power lead

Are you seeing the battery or power light on the laptop go on when the ac adapter is connected? If not, it may be the ac adapter, or usually the charging port. I have had to change charging ports many times. But if you get no lights, it needs either a new charger, and if that doesn't change anything, it needs repair.

My Lifebook S6010´s Intersil PRISM wireless lan pci card does not work. in the device manager it tells me that "this device cannot start. (code 10)" so how can i get my wireless connection working? i...

Try uninstalling your pcmcia drive in device manager and then restart the laptop and let windows reinstall it. With the pci wifi card out of the slot of course. Then once the laptop is started back up and the slot is reinstalled by windows reinsert your wifi card and reload the proper driver.
Good Luck.

FUJITSU LIFEBOOK S6010 - INTERSIL PRISM PCI WIFI CARD - WPA LAN

Seems like you have a pretty old laptop. I'm guessing its got a wireless B card installed internally. And wireless B supports WEP most of the time. And if you're lucky the manufacturer of that wireless card may have an update to patch your card so that it will see WAP. Otherwise you can replace that internal card or get a usb / PCMCIA wireless card that supports at least wireless G standard.
