I lost the cd rom to install my webcam, and now cannot install.

1st You download Webcam Driver.
I lost the CD ROM software. What can I do to
After this install the Webcam driver in the system.
Installation of Webcam Driver
Go to the control panel
Click on the System Icon
Click on the Hardware Tab
Click on the Device Manager s
Select the Unknown Device or printer device where yellow Question Marks sign on it.
Right click on it and uninstall it.
After this go to the top of the device manager and click on scan for hardware changes.
Driver installation Wizard start.
Brows Your Driver from the Hard Disk and click on next.
Driver will be install.

Try deleting upper and lower filters of your optical drive. To do that, run regedit on start search. Then, follow this path: local machine, system, current control set, control, class, 4D36E965- E325 - 11CE - BFC1- 08002BE10318. then on the window under Name, look for upper and/or lower filters. right click on it and delete. restart pc. then you're good to go.

if you have lost cd rom then dont worry. go to the website of your device company and download driver software for your webcam device and install it. okay

I got a new computer and lost the disk to install the camera. I bought it at Radio Shack and want to install it. It is a Gigaware webcam. Thank you for all your help.
