I did the same thing... I pulled it out of my pocket after dropping and it's locked. I've tried everything, but nothing will unlock it. Does casio or verizon have a special pin or code to unlock it?

  • Irabing Dec 16, 2007

my phone wouldnt unlock after going to a verizon store in a mall. and doing other stuff, so i finally took it to the manhatten store. and they were able to unlock it.

my phone didnt have a number activated on it so i couldnt type in the last 4 digits

but if u do have a phone number than it should work, provinding that u didnt dchange the code.

Had the same thing happen to me. Bought the phone but before I activated it I pushed the lock button by accident thinking it would activate the vibrate function and now it is all locked up. Tryed last 4 of the phone number as well as many others suggested by the verizon agent and none worked probably because the phone was not activated yet. Verizon tryed to call Casio support but they are only open 9-5 m-f. Anyone know the 4 digit casio default code to unlock the Gzone type-S? Have tryed 1234, 0000, 9999 etc.

I set my boulder to nam2 on accident and my code didnt work after searchin for like 4 months on the internet i found this code ##7764726 (PROGRAM), SEND. SPC Enter 000000 after u enter it go to the nam settings select nam2 go to the second one its like MDN or somethin like that the last four digits should unlock it but u might have to take it to the store to get it programmed again but ull have ur phone back without losin any info u mightve saved on it

Sean J,
The only way to get the manufacturers code for your phone is to contact casio support directly by phone. Go to this link for the #'s - http://www.utstar.com/pcd/ContactUs.aspx
They are glad to give you the code for your phone once provided the ESN HEX # under the battery. Only problem is they are only available M-F 9-5.
Once your phone is activated then the code defaults to the last 4 of the phone #.

As sleepyeater said, press ##7764726 (PROGRAM)> SEND > SPC Enter 000000 and record the last four digits of the number that appears. Enter those 4 digits in the Unlock dialog.

This did help but till I got to the point to put in the numbers and the four digits did not work so after I put in 000000. Then I had to go to Feature Settings and then go down to Auto Lock and disable it. Then I exit, when the phone came back on it was unlocked. BTW: after going into those settings and exit your phone will shut off then come back on!

You missed the point though. Some of us have unactivated phones that are locked. Since there is no telephone # attached, the last four digits are nonexistent... what then?

I HAD THIS PROBLEM TO!!! I WAS ABLE TO UNLOCK MY PHONE TRUST ME THIS WORKS. THIS DOES WORK. i tried Verizon customer service help but not workings there.
i went to http://easycalculation.com/hex-converter.php and typed in the ESN HEX code. and went to the decimal conversion below it and typed in the last 4 digits there. ALL THIS IS IF YOU LOCKED OUT IN NAM2 setting. it worked my Casio Type-S. then use the same code that yours came up with and type it in the sercuity to change back to NAM1. then when it reset. type in the last 4 of your phone number and it works again. thank you. have a nice day. hope this helps. NOTE THIS WORKS WITH IF YOU HAD A NUMBER ON IT. i do not know if it works if you dont know what the old phone number was.

The unlock code is the last four digits of your phone number.

I just called Casio. on my phone I had switched the nam accidentally to nam2 and when the phone reset my original lock code did not work any longer. They gave me the run around for a little while telling me that I would have to send the phone in for repair but then I finally got a hold of one of the techs and he said that 4298 would work. I don't know if it is different for every phone but it may be as he asked me for the hex code on the phone.
hope this helps someone...

How can I reset the code to my gzone from verizon it's not a phone in service any longer but I wanted to retrieve my pics stored on the phone is there a way to reset the unlock code?

hi Subuksh there are two ways to get your pics off the phone. The first way is to get a micro sd card and put it into the slot on the side of the casio. it will cost $20. if you get it from Verizon. Also you may not need to change your lock code. The lock code is the last four digits of your phone number. Even if your not using that phone it is the same last four of the most recent phone number on the phone. OK their is one more options that you have you can reactivate the gzone. IF you need help with any of these options contact me an I will walk you through how to do it. Hope this helps

My Casio Gzone Boulder has stopped recording numbers called

I had the same problem. No caller ID for incoming or outgoing or missed. Then it froze up. I took the battery out to restart it. A day or 2 later I had to get it replaced. No caller ID at all. I got a new Boulder from verizon. It started not receiving calls randomly. I would get some, but friends complained that they called and I did not anser. No voice mail was there or them. Then IT Froeze on the Verizon Wireless wording. Cant do a thing now. 3rd phone onits way. THESE ARE JUNK!!!! I got my first in sept, 2nd oct, 3rd on its way for dec 5. SEND IT BACK FOR A REPLACEMENT.
