my phone wouldnt unlock after going to a verizon store in a mall. and doing other stuff, so i finally took it to the manhatten store. and they were able to unlock it.
my phone didnt have a number activated on it so i couldnt type in the last 4 digits
but if u do have a phone number than it should work, provinding that u didnt dchange the code.

Had the same thing happen to me. Bought the phone but before I activated it I pushed the lock button by accident thinking it would activate the vibrate function and now it is all locked up. Tryed last 4 of the phone number as well as many others suggested by the verizon agent and none worked probably because the phone was not activated yet. Verizon tryed to call Casio support but they are only open 9-5 m-f. Anyone know the 4 digit casio default code to unlock the Gzone type-S? Have tryed 1234, 0000, 9999 etc.

I did the same thing... I pulled it out of my pocket after dropping and it's locked. I've tried everything, but nothing will unlock it. Does casio or verizon have a special pin or code to unlock it?

The unlock code is the last four digits of your phone number.

Sean J,
The only way to get the manufacturers code for your phone is to contact casio support directly by phone. Go to this link for the #'s - http://www.utstar.com/pcd/ContactUs.aspx
They are glad to give you the code for your phone once provided the ESN HEX # under the battery. Only problem is they are only available M-F 9-5.
Once your phone is activated then the code defaults to the last 4 of the phone #.

I just called Casio. on my phone I had switched the nam accidentally to nam2 and when the phone reset my original lock code did not work any longer. They gave me the run around for a little while telling me that I would have to send the phone in for repair but then I finally got a hold of one of the techs and he said that 4298 would work. I don't know if it is different for every phone but it may be as he asked me for the hex code on the phone.
hope this helps someone...

You missed the point though. Some of us have unactivated phones that are locked. Since there is no telephone # attached, the last four digits are nonexistent... what then?
