Re: formatting my computer

You can google it and download the drivers and utilities for your computer. just take a list of your hardware peripherals you would be just fine. if your running windows xp or vista, both OS have a wide range of driver database. they would be easily identified and work properly.

The problem is caused due to the virus infection. Copying and pasting text is not an issue however the problem that the virus caused you is copying and pasting files. Installing a license antivirus may help you with the problem. Once the problem has been fixed you need to backup the files and reinstall the operating system because some registry or files might got corrupted due to the infection.

You cabn try to install and clean your computer using this. click here. A 30 day trail antivirus just fillout the form and it will send you a link a verification email.

Thanks for using Fixya.

Audio in my laptop is continuously going on and off?iam using lenovo laptop

Hello, If this has not been happening before, maybe you just noticed it, then you can only think of this as a result of infection on your system, it can be a virus, trojan horse, malware etc. What you can do is to scan your system thoroughly with a good anti-virus to remove any infections, note that the anti-virus must be updated before it is used

My laptop is infected will changing the motherboard fix problem

Don't need to change the motherboard to remove a virus infection. In fact, this won't solve your problem. The virus is on the hard disc drive.

If it is a bad virus that won't let you do anything on the computer, follow the instructions on this link. If you can install programs on your computer, follow only steps 7 and 8 from the above link.

Turns off

If you have another computer you can download AVG, and make a bootable disk which could remove all infected files on your computer (The computer would boot off of the Anti-virus disk instead of windows, mount the hard drive, and scan it).

Another option is to reinstall windows all together (I don't recommend this unless nothing else works)

Depending on what you use your computer for (do you use any programs that only work in windows?), you could try installing linux, which is free, immune to viruses, and really fast. Ubuntu is a good option if you choose this route.

Let me know if this works for you!
