I don't have this particular phone, but generally the sim card in under the battery. Before you start, make sure you have all your contacts and stuff stored on the phone, not the sim, or it all goes bye-bye when you change the sim. Snap off the back of the phone. Don't pry the battery out. Usually you have to look for 2 tiny little "latches" that hold it in. Sometimes there is a lever that you push to release the battery. Then you can see the sim card. Sometimes you release a little metal clip that holds it down. On other phones, you just slide the card out from under the metal holder. Pay attention to which way the card is turned, and don't put the new one in upside down. Then reassemble the phone.
Hi, PUK means "Personal Unlocking Key" and it is asked if you enter wrong pin for three times. You are then given 10 attempts to enter the PUK. (it is printed on the voucher of sim card when you have purchased the sim)
Your sim card will be blocked permanently if you still entered incorrect PUK code after the 10th attempt.
And if ever you lost the voucher you have only 2 ways to get rid of the PUK code:
1. Replace the sim card or
2. Call the phone company that released the sim card. They will give you the PUK code once you give them your account details and they have confirmed your identity.
I think there is a problem of sim card slot or sim ic. as a result when u insert sim card and start your phone then you watch the message. any way for this solution is first you can change your sim card i mean you use other operator sim. but if you face same problem then im ensuring you that the sim ic or slot problem. otherwise of your sim problem. as i know that if any one try to unblock code wrongly for 9 times then the sim become rejected. thanks a lot
This problem arises sometimes because the mobile is unable to read the SIM. May be you should fold a small piece of paper in the same size of the SIM and keep it on top of the SIM and then insert the Battery. I think this will solve your problem.
If you have entered the puk code wrong too many times you may have to get a new sim card.
puk code, personal unlocking key. It is sim card related / specific, if
you take the sim card out from the phone, the phone will work with
another sim card.
The puk comes up when the pin code has been
entered wrong 3 times. To get the puk code for your sim card, you have
to call the service provider of that sim card. They are the only ones
who can provide you with the right puk code for that sim card.
The puk code may also have came with the documentation of the sim card, if its a prepaid card the puk code comes on the documents or on the box of the product.
if your unable to obtain the puk code, get a new sim card.
also entering the puk
code wrong too many times will eventually ruin the sim card forcing you
to buy or contact your service provider for a new sim card.
There are no puk code calculators or anything that we can do about it, you can buy premium assistance and you will get this same response. Theres no other solution.
You have to contact the phone service provider of that sim card or replace the sim card.
