Ice dispenser in the door

- If you will look on the bottom of the dispenser cover you will see 2 notches on the left and right side. carefully pry the cover off using a flat tip screw driver. then you will see a white switch plate that is either held on with latches or 2 srews depending on model. once this is removed you will gain access to the dispenser door.
once you gain access I think you will find the hinges for the dispenser door are broken off. if so you will need a dispenser door repair kit form whirlpool part # 8201756 this kit includes new door and hinge repair kit. this is something you can do yourself if you are pateint and pay lose attention to detail. otherwise I would recomend a god servie company. thanks for using FixYa , Sea Breeze
