No sound when I coonect my PC through tv

Hi - I have connected my pc through my tv but have no sound! The pc has no speakers with it, so I think this is probably the reason because it thinks it should play through them. Is there a way I can play the sound through the tv speaker.

thanks

Go to the nearest electronic shop and look for a 3.5 mm earphone jack cable with an RCA jack on the other end. plug the 3.5 mm earphone jack to the audio output of the tv adapter and the RCA jack to the audio input of your TV. And your problem is solved

I can hear the sound in headphone but built in speaker are not working. what to do

Hi, Check the following,
  • Speakers, connecting cables and Sound Card are working fine by connecting to another computer.
  • OR
  • If the connection ok increase your volume and open the cable from the pc.
Now you will touch the stereo jack, can you can listen a sound when touch the jack. If you will not get any sound, think there is the problem in your amplifier or audio system has not any voltage. To confirm the voltage check by multi miter or can go any local Technician .If the voltage is ok, think your sound system defected and should go to Technician.

  • If your sound system is ok
  • Speaker Cable connect to an audio port (Audio/Video port in system box).
Hope this helps ,

No sound

Hi i think most probably the reason for this might be a corrupted audio drivers or a problem with the speakers.

1.Check your speakers by connecting them to another pc or using another set of speakers. If this doesn't solve the problem then it might be audio drivers.
2.a)Determine the type of sound card you have. Click Start>Control Panel>(double click) Administrative Tools>Computer Management>Device Manager>(double click)Sound, Video and Game Controllers. The sound card will be listed. b)Determine your operating system version. Click Start, right click on My computer, and select properties to check the version. c)Search the website of your computer or audio card's manufacturer and download the appropriate audio drivers.Install it and reboot the pc.

This should do the trick.Hope this helps.

Sound went out think its the speakers but not sure

If there is a buzzing sound coming from the speakers, when you listen closely the speakers probably went out, you should try connecting external speakers to the tv, if they work you know its the speakers if not, then it may be the TV screen itself, hope this helps.

How do i connect my adventt9101 to my sony lcd tv, i want to use hdmi leads but i dont think my pc has hdmi port? any help

If you don't have an HDMI connection on your computer, then you will need to get a VGA cable. There should be a VGA connection on your tv. Just disconnect the monitor on your computer and connect the VGA cable from the computer monitor port to the VGA port on the tv. You may have to set the tv for PC or Aux input. You won't have high definition or sound to the tv with a VGA cable though. The sound will still come through your PC speakers.

The sound coming from my speakers connected to the pc sounds as though it is in a big hall.been fine for months suddenly happened, plugged headphones directly into the pc thinking it would be ok and get...

yes what happened? Headphones bypass some circuitry so that you can test if speakers are good or not. You are probably bypassing the DSP which emulates different settings.

Bad sound definition

Hi Alan
As long as your television has an audio output on the back of the tv (usually white and red plugs (RCA connections)) you can connect it to any stereo system with an auxillary input. I have a very small mini system which has inputs so they're available on all sorts of systems.
TV speakers are usually small and have a low nominal output. They don't cover a large frequency range.
If you can find a sound system with a graphic equalizer (these are usually digital now) you should be able to tweak it to your tastes.
Hope this helps

Sound problem SVA HD4208T VI PDP

Hi there, I think you are ecnountering a connection issue. If you are using the yellow red and white connection then make sure all these wires are connected to the corresponded input line. Your television has two composite input line. Make sure the red and the white wire is connected in the same input line as the video. For example, Connect the yellow red and white wire in Input1 ( all are in the same input line) http://www.sva-usa.com/4208.html If you have any addittional question, please feel free to contact me. Thanks, Mike
