Epson R200 lights flashing but printer not being picked up

Hi, I have the ink pad full issue and have found lots of resource on the web to reset the count. The problem I have is that the alternating lights appear to override the power light (it isn't on) so the utility thinks the printer is turned off. I have managed to get it to say the counters have been reset but I don't think it's worked as the lights are still flashing. I keep getting a status monitor pop up that says printer is not ready to print. If I hold the print button down when I turn the printer on the paper feed/waste and green power flash in unison for about 10 seconds before the red lights start alternating again.

These red lights appear to be stopping me from resetting the printer, any ideas how to get around this?

Your help is much appreciated.

Paul

- No paper jam or open doors. This occurred after replacing inks and doing a clean. Everything seems to point to full ink pads, the tube has been exposed to go into a pot but these lights just flash and this stops the printer from communicating. Thanks

Please ensure that there is no paper jam in the printer or any door open thereby. Replug the printer after 10 min. powering off.

First start PC and then printer. Report us back for further assistance.
