I have a Intel Motherboard E139761 N232. I have a Video Capture card (VBSE100) and I can not get a image due to a conflict with the Interrupts. The Video capture call for irq to be 10 and it is set to that, but I get a conflict with extended memory with RAM. What can I do to correct thie problem? Thanks, D
Swap your memory stick from primary to seconday channels, or vice- versa
also try the auxiliary channel, get an update for xp if you are using xp else get vista update or windows 7 update, and ensure you have latest motherboard and device drivers ready, if you are not sure about it, then you can very well go to your device manufacturer's website goto downloads or support section and select your model of hardware and download the drivers, if all these are done(checked) most probably your problem would be solved
Under the properties for that device in device manager, you can override the default settings for the device. Change the IRQ setting for the device until you find a setting that is not conflicting with anything else.
