Re: mouse trouble

To fix this problem, first uninstall your mouse in your device manager. After this, use the mouse's install CD to reinstall the driver. If you do not have a CD, or it does not require a CD, windows may already have the driver pre loaded and can take care of it. If not, you can goto the mouse manufacturers web site and download the driver from there.

Having major usb issue

Do a restore, to back before you installed it, you just want to do the restore point before the install then you start fresh and then make sure under your device settings that you have more than one usb port active, designate under the default programs that the auto play is on, you get it, easy.

Mouse & Keyboard

Try to plug in anothor USB port of your PC then restart. If it needs to syncronize push the little button on the wireless USB and the link button on the mouse (on some wireless models it has to link).

Hope this helps..

Mouse doesnt work

Windows has trouble recognizing some devices. It gets it and then checks later and doesn't get it and this repeats over and over. Unplug and replug and it works, and then it starts all over again.

I have had to simply abandon using certain mice and keyboards.

How do you change the wireless mouse from one computer to another?

A wireless mouse or keyboard relies on a feature in the computer itself to communicate with these devices. Unless the computer you're moving the wireless mouse to can communicate with wireless devices or also came with the same or similar mouse, you may be unsuccessful in your attempts to get it to work. Moving both the wireless mouse and the "card" out of one desktop computer to another should work if you want to go to that much trouble.

I have a Gateway Laptop and I bought a HP 3-Button wireless mouse

as u said that the usb is now not working and it used to work before and what u can try is that try and connect this same usb to some other computer and it works on the other computer that means the prob is with the computer and if it doesnt work then the usb device has gone bad and replace it..but before that just once flash the bios and restart the computer and then what also u can try is that u can dod the system restore...and if none of the usb device works with this computer then definately replace the motherboard.

Microsoft wireless notebook optical mouse 3000 Doesnt seem to work?

Okay, a coworker had this problem and it was a fairly easy fix, first, plug the USB reciever into a direct USB port, then pess the connect button on the underside of the mouse, when the red light starts blinking let go and then press it and hold, and at the SAME TIME press and hold the connect button on the receiver until both the receiver light and the mouse light turn on steadily, and voila!
