    my mouse dose not work

  • sunny1873 Jul 12, 2008

After 8 minutes not using my Dynex mouse it goes to sleep, which is normal. Then I press every switch on the mouse, according to instructions on http://www.dynexproducts.com/skins/skin_... and nothing happens. I turn off my laptop and start from scratch: the receiver and the mouse do not connect.

    Can you help?

To fix this problem, first uninstall your mouse in your device manager. After this, use the mouse's install CD to reinstall the driver. If you do not have a CD, or it does not require a CD, windows may already have the driver pre loaded and can take care of it. If not, you can goto the mouse manufacturers web site and download the driver from there.

Hi,
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

Do a restore, to back before you installed it, you just want to do the restore point before the install then you start fresh and then make sure under your device settings that you have more than one usb port active, designate under the default programs that the auto play is on, you get it, easy.

All of a sudden I lost control of my mouse pad. The indicater will move around but it will not respond. I did add a wireless mouse and it still does the same Dell computer

Try restarting your computer, and while its booting up, tap f8..

then choose last known good configuration..

If that doesnt work for you, try using the keyboard to navigate to system restore..

The first step is pressing the windows key on the keyboard, and then by using the tab key and enter and the up and down arrows, navigate to

all programs, accessories, system tools, system restore..

Then perform a system restore to a time before this issue started

Get an external usb mouse, once you have it plugged in restart the computer. Then go into the device manager and uninstall your old mouse, unplug the usb mouse, then restart. That should fix your problem. Let me know if you need more details.
