To reset the password remove the cmos battery and wait for 10 sec and reconnect it BE CAREFUL while doing that, its very delicate.

the only way I know of to clear a bios set password is to "flash" the bios. just go to google and type in search box.... how to flash bios on a omnibook xe3.... and see what comes up.

Dear Sirs, I have forgotten the BIOS password of my HP OmniBook Xe3 GC (F2337W). It uses a Phoenix BIOS v4.0 rellease 6.0 and responses a hash code of 15786, however, any of the brute force password...

I have had success is taking the backup battery out for at least 10 min ...you may be able to remove just the keyboard to gain access to it...just unplug it wait and re-plug it
