Hello :) I am playing god of war for the ps2 I am on the place in athons where you have to save the orical hanging from a rope you have 2 statues to move around and I can not figure out how to save her do you guys know? thanks

By locking the two arms in place and then swinging the casket into the statue.

Okay, are you using the original PS2? If you are then it more then likely is the age of the console. The original PS2 console actually can't play some of the games that were made after the PS2 slim was released. If your using the slim than the only thing i can advise is to try using a laser lens cleaner disc and see if that helps :)

your CD is damaged somewhere for sure. the best solution is to copy the disc using computer burner and play the burned (copyed) CD.

The problem can be with your scanning lens that might be dirty.Clean your PS2 lens first.Watch this video to learn how to clean PS2 lens.



Always keep your PS2 in clean place.If lens cleaning wont work then try following trick.Click to view it.Although its for PS2 DVD movies but you can try it to play God of War too. Good luck!

Many people have this issue with God of War and God of War II. It is a glitch and some have found that using a 64MB memory card instead of an 8MB memory card has helped but not many have had such success. The only solution would either be to play the game all the way through in one go, while attempting to save at all the save points possible or to attempt to take the game back to where you got it and request a replacement game.

it has been resolved. the PS2 slim that was manufactured after a certain date will not play god of war 2 nor will it play yakuza 2

Your ps2 needs to be fixed, gow 1 and 2 are dual layered discs and alot of ps2 originals and slims have trouble playing it, trying calling sony and they can usually fix it for about $45, the laser in your ps2 is worn.  Hope this helps :)

U got stand on the first plate with the statue in front of u and then u should kick it to the other plate and then u should roll thru to the other side.

Does it make a clicking sound as it tries to read the disk?

I had the same problem and it turns out that it is the console. But it is easily remedied. I cannot take credit but follow this link and you will see it is an easy fix.
