Question about Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-P41 Digital Camera
I had to open my DSC-P41 to force the shuter open, when I assembled it, the screen didn't work, how can I fix it? I can take pictures, and download them directly to the computer, but I have to take them using the view finder.
When I took mine apart and reassembled it, the same thing happened to me. So I reopened it and rechecked all of the connections. First of all, on all of the ribbon connections, there is a black and a beige part. First, stick your fingernail underneath the black part where the ribbon is supposed to be plugged in and then lift up. This will pop the black part open to allow you to plug the ribbon in well. Push the ribbon into the connection as far as you can, and then reclick the black section back down to ensure a good connection. Once I redid this, the screen worked again. I know thats a simple solution, but don't know if you tried it yet. If thats not the case, then it could probably be a number of things.
