My Eltron LP 2824 won't print two labels side by side...it keeps printing across the twolabels...I've tried changing the 'portrait' and landcsape..but nothing happens...

Your software label template does not match the size label your printing on. Make sure your label size IE: 2.25" x 1.25" matches the template size in the software, then perform this calibration:

This could simply be old direct thermal labels. Direct thermal labels have a shelf life of about 1 year from the date of manufacture. After that time has lapsed the thermal coating on the labels begins to dissipate and this will cause labels to print light or faded. You can trouble shoot with a roll known to be fresh. This is always a calibration or label template size issue.

• First calibrate your printer: Calibrate Zebra Desktop Printer
• Make sure your software template size matches the size label in the printer.

check the driver, and the setings from the driver. Try ZDesign Driver or seggul driver from WWW.seaguscientific.com, and print the testpage, chech the connection (port) if is seria (com) check the setings speed etc...

Try another roll of labels? If that doesn't help, it may have a problem with the sensor that checks the starting point of the label. These are old so it's easy and cheap to replace with a similar unit.

check the driver if the length and the with are correct, print a test page, check if come the windows logo and the test from all label. check if the barcode is biguer that the label, if it is, is not appear.
2 solution is to reset printer to factory defult (press button until flash 4 times and relese the button.

I assume by double tags you mean 2 labels across the roll.
You need to tell your software that the roll is 2 across.

Set your label width to twice the single label and copy the barcode so that you have 2 across the label, then print

if you see that it is like printing a card. check your thermal print head maybe its not working.
