If the door will not unlock at the end of the clean cycle then you may have a problem the door lock/motor assembly. You should first remove the power to the oven for a few moments and then reconnect. This may reset the control and allow you to unlock the door. If you suspect that the door lock/motor assembly is at fault then you will need to unlock the door manually. The assembly is normally located between the main top and the oven and can only be accessed by raising the main top. This is very difficult to do because the screws that hold the top in place are inaccessible with the door closed. If the assembly cannot be accessed then you will have to form a wire hook,(coat hanger) and insert it between the door and the latch and manually pull the latch to the open position. Remove power to the oven before attempting this procedure and be careful not to damage the finish.
To
close an oven door when it's in the locked position and the door is
open, press and hold the oven door light switch while following these
simple steps:
Program the oven to self-clean.
Wait 20 seconds.
Cancel self-clean.
Wait 20 seconds.
To self-clean your wall oven, follow these simple steps:
Remove the oven racks.
Set your oven control to "Clean."
Select a cleaning time or choose a cleaning level:
light, medium or heavy. For typical cleaning needs, we recommend that
you select a cleaning time of three hours or choose the medium setting.
Select "Start." (To set a delayed start, see your Use & Care Guide.)
Note: For safety reasons, the oven door will remain locked until
the oven cools down. When it is sufficiently cool, the door will
automatically unlock.
You may have accidentally moved the clean door lock lever that hooks the door to the lock position.. You could try hooking a string on the lever and pulling it over to allow the door to close, then try unlocking the door on control board. Just a idea, does not sound broken, good luck....
The oven thinks the door lock will not unlock after the self clean operation. This could be:
1. Door lock motor problem - did the door unlock after cleaning? 2. Unlatch-sensor switch on the door lock mechanism - switch or wiring may be bad, or switch out of alignment. Try opening and closing the door a few times to see if it clears (if it's not locked). 3. Control board not sending the proper unlock signal to the lock motor. We repair control boards at www.fixyourboard.com.
your oven uses a motor lock latch #316028101 around 100 dollars the motor or the linkages to the motor are most likely bad . the control board could be supplying the voltage to the motor is which case the board would be bad if the are no sensors telling it to lock the door If you are not pretty handy with a schematic and a meter I would suggest you call someone. F3 can be a thermal fuse or maybe the wrong resistance on the over sensor
I forgot to add that the only way the Tech is able to get the oven door unlocked after it shuts down in the Self-Clean (Self-Destruct?) mode is to take a pair of pliers and short across the bad Thermal Protection swtich before replacing it.
take a wire clothes hanger and go at the top of the door from the side hook the lock lever and pull this will unlock the door I' done this a thousand times and fun this can work on your last nerve sometimes but then again sometimes they go great good luck
