- Well, whom do you suggest. I want to know how to get a Siemens 4100 into full bridge mode. Not a whole lot of ISP providers here in the boondocks! Do you know how to get the modem to full bridge mode or not?
Well I am wondering why you are persisiting with an ISP that does not support full bridge mode. It is most common and Cisco routers are many throughout the USA GB AU and many other places. Perhaps its time to select an ISP that does support it rather than getting a new modem that your Internet source does not support.
Any problems that arise with the new modem will land you right back in a no go situation. Good luck!

- I cannot recommend any ISP for you because I am in Australia and have no Idea where you are of course except possibly USA.
You must have AT&T ADSL and not U-verse since the U-verse VDSL
modem can't be put into bridge mode and doesn't use PPPoE. Which modem
do you have? Are you sure you are putting in the right username and
password into your router for the PPPoE session to initiate?
Make sure you know the ID and password of the account. Make sure you
know how to access the router setup page. Set the modem to Bridged
Mode. It will reboot. Now your router will have to be switched to
PPPoE. Your router is probably set now for Dynamic IP from ISP. I'm
going by the setting on my router. Log onto the router setup page and
change the Dynamic IP setting to PPPoE. As soon as you make that
switch the router setup will supply spaces for you to enter the ID and
password that were stored on the modem. Then it will probably reboot
and all will be fine.
