With a 5500 watt amplifier you should be running 0 awg wire . You also need to be running an anl fuse holder with a 250 amp fuse underneath the hood by your battery. When the power light blinks like that it means that it needs more power - ie. that there is resistance some where in the system . With 4 gauge wire it just isn't getting what it needs. Make sure you upgrade the ground as well to 0 awg . If you have any other questions please feel free to contact me mmaudio545@yahoo.com
