How do i program my Quantum Fx REM-600 universal... (by 4 users)
I lost the instuctions to my Quantum Fx universal remote. How do I program it to work with my t.v. ? My tv is an RCA

my dear;
first, the other person is right. the universal remote controls are for conveninent and perform some of the functions of the original controls. for you with the problem with the TV, I think the remote control cannot solve the problem. the Vertical height must be adjusted in your TV from inside and by a tecnician or the TV is in ZOOM mode that only original remote controls cover this function.

I'm having the same problem but I have a Quantum fx rem-300 remote. I had the manual sitting on top of my tv but I can't find it so I think I accidentally threw it away. Now I need to reprogram the remote for the cable box.

I have the same problem, I punched in the code 053 on the remote because thats the code to an rca tv per instruction manual, kand volume,channels work, but I need to adjust the picture and the arrows dont work, I dont know why everything else works except the arrows, or maybe there is another way to adjust the picture. Thats the ain reason I bought it because the picture on my T.V. cuts out the top of everything, like if someone is standing up, I can see only their mouth down. If anyone knows how to adjust this thanks alot, I appreciate any help I can get!!
WizThe reason your universal remote won't control advanced functions is because it's not meant to. Universal remotes are intended to be a convenience and usually only control the basic funtions like channel, volume and mute. Sometimes a higher end will do some other things, but you will need to get an original remote for your brand and model of TV to do everything you want to do. Sorry I can't give you better news.
