Kodak CX6200 Battery Door Replacement

I have two Kodak CX 6200 cameras and both battery doors no longer stay closed. I purchased a replacement door, but I need the instructions on how to take the cover off to replace the old door. It can't be that hard and I have two cameras to practice on.

You can buy the replacement part from

My batterry door is broken I don't know how to put

KODAK doesn't sell battery doors for any of their models.

A repair for this fault is 24,47 pounds + shipping to the repair centre.
If you already have the battery door; I suggest you will have a local camera TECH to attach the door to the unit.

Battery door no longer locks to stay closed. olympus camedia c-720

You either find a replacement door or simply use a small amount of sticky tag to both corners of the door frame where the card door closes on to. Don't put too much, just enough to hold it shut after pressing down slightly. No adhesive tapes, as they give a messy look and need to be replaced quite often.
Hope this experience of mine can help.

About battery door broken in Kodak CX7330

I've got 16 of these cameras and had to replace the door on 3 of them. (I'm a teacher)

it is quite simple, but there are little tiny screws and some dexterity required!
to replace the battery door, you need a super small screwdriver (I've used both an eyeglass size and the screwdriver that came with my son's tech deck!) . you'll have to unscrew all of the small screws that hold on the back of the camera. remember which screws go to which hole - because some are longer than others. once the screws are out, you'll have to gently pry off the cover. carefully - you dont want to crack the camera case. you'll also want to be careful not to touch the sensor, which will be exposed with the case off.

NEXT you;ll have to pry the little spring out of the battery door to actually remove the old door. you'll probably have to use a screw driver to pull the spring on the new door back enough to fit back into the holes. that's really all there is to it. replace the cover and the screws.

Easy Fix-
I had the same problem. Place the camera upside down with the battery door to your right. There is a plastic plate with the eject switch to the left. It has three philips screws. Get a jewlers screwdriver (Any hobby store, Harbour Freight, etc.) Take out the three small screws. Don't lose them. Get a razor blade and pry up the plate in the line just to the right of the top right screw. Only pry up about an 1/8 of an inch and only that corner not the whole plate. Then you can slant the new battery door so that the top part goes to the left under the plate and then straigten it out so that the tabs seat in the grooves. Repace the screws. Voila.
Good Luck,
