Question about Motorola Mobility RAZR V3xx Cellular Phone
Phone worked fine for 6 months, then suddenly asked for sim card - removed card, reinstalled..same message.
Tried a different card with same result
I had this problem before and they gave me a new one and did something to it for free and it has worked ever since. :)

That is odd that it would do that. I would remove the card and clean the gold contacts with a q-tip and if you have canned air, blow out around the area where the contacts are. It seems unlikely that dust would get in there, but it is possible. If that doesn't work, you can clean those contacts with a q-tip and a little alcohol. But not too much. Just enough to barely wet them.
