Re: Labels spitting out, but blank

Sounds like you have thermal transfer labels in the printer, you need direct thermal labels.

expose the labels to some heat and see if they turn black, you can do this by quickly running your finger nail across the labels. if they don't blacken then you have the wrong labels.

Hi. We use UPS worldship and we have a Zebra Z4MPlus printer. It is shooting out a blank label after one label is printed. When there are multiple packages it will spit out way too many labels with blanks...

Things to check for:

1. Make sure that label guides are positioned correctly.
2. Make sure that media sensor is positioned correctly.
3. Make sur that media type is set for non continuous labels.
4. possible sensor fault tis will require an engineer.

Hope this helps.

Look at the stocks tab in the driver. There is an area in your print driver to adjust the width/height of the kind of label you are trying to use.

Spits out multiple blank labels and reports a printing error

I just fixed my coworker's Dymo, which had the same problem. I hope this helps: if you've ever fed it labels in the wrong direction (upside down), you may have jammed it and left a piece of a label glued to one or more of the sensors that let the labelmaker know it's finished printing a label.

1. Disconnect your labelmaker
2. Disconnect/remove any unused labels and set them aside.
3. Remove the face plate (with the DYMO LabelWriter 400 logo)
4. Lift the gray plastic lip (labels go under this) and make sure there are no pieces of paper/labels in there.
Once I removed a piece of an old label and put the LabelWriter back together it started working well again.

Printer won't print at all!

Default the printer by holding the feed button down intill the light flashes 4 times and then release to default the printer to factory specs, auto calibrate and save settings to memory. If that does not help its mechcanical and needs service.
