Got A New Unlocked Phone

I bought a new phone a unlocked Blackberry 7105t. I have been trying to make phone calls but apparently i'm on cingulars network and I can't get onto the T-Mobile network. How do I fix this problem?

You should check if you have activated roaming, are you using different sim to use blackberry services etc, then you can select and use the blackberry services

Yes you can.
I am currently using my blackberry in Portugal although I bought it in the UK.

If the telephone is really unlocked you could insert any SIM card from any carrier.

you have to contact T-mobile technical support and have them guide you through programming their internet settings on the phone. although the phone is unlocked the internet settings currently on the phone is for cingular. have them program the same settings as the t-mobile MDA phone (same phone as 8125, shipped for t-mobile)

Unlock my blackberry 7290

Like you being with T-mobile, I bought a cingular phone off ebay that wasn't unlock. My sims didn't work either. My network just said call Cingular which is now AT&T and they gave me the MEP code to unlock it. Beware, you need to confirm all of your information from your network before they will help you.

only the maufacture can help you with this....call t-mobile. they will be able to submit a request to RIM and you will be able to use the phone in india. once you have the code, select Tools., then go into Settings , select SIM Card.and verify that the phone number and SIM ID number displays.

Type 'meppd' then Type 'mepp2 'to display the dialog box asking for the unlock code. once 10 attempts to enter the correct code have been made, press the Enter key and Powercycle the handheld.
