Question about Juicers
I'm trying to unscrew the juicer to wash it but i don't know how any ideas??
Okay...Here goes: I figured out that there must have been a "keyway" tool of some sorts, so I used a knife instead...I have a j6-6 model (salton) and on the rear oif the machine just below the upper pulp catcher section, there is an "opening" of sorts. take a steak knife and insert this into the opening..(UNPLUG THE MACHINE FIRST!!!)..grasp the stainless steel strainer and while twisting the knife in order to apply pressure and "jam" the drive shaft underneath , twist the strainer basket counter clockwise...It will release and the rest is easy...Hope this helps..ChristianMagician in Diamondhead

You have to unscrew the metal blade. See the three screws which connect the grater? Unscrew those. I know, it's a terrible design. Very unpractical. So once you unscrew the metal grater, you can twist off the top plastic part of the machine. The top part I'm referring to shoots out the pulp. That whole thing twists off. Then you can clean your juicer. It's a **** design. It's amazing that this is Juiceman 2. Just imagine how crappy Juiceman 1 is...
