turn tv on cuts off few seconds later think its a fuse but dont know what looks like or where it is on syphonic tv/vcr combo

i turn it on and while watching it kicks off and the power light flashes....the only way to get it back on is to unplug and plug it....but the light flashes 4 times...please help.....

I have the same problem - and have had for almost a year. I unplug the TV(all the way out for a couple seconds) and plug it back in - hit the power button and like magic it's working ... until last week that is. Now it just keeps flashing. If anyone knows a solution please post!

Power light blinks green for approx. 4 seconds, but no TV or VCR.
Happens either Manual or with Remote.
Last worked 10/05/08, set Sleep Timer for 30 minutes and it worked.

Same problem, I have a 98 Toshiba Theaterview 50", I unpluged it and it sounded like it was going to come on, but the red light just flashes, I think it needs the transformer replaced or something in the power area.

We have the same problem. The red power light flashes, but it will not turn on. The first time it happened, I unplugged it and the TV came on when I when I plugged it back in but now nothing happens. Has anyone had any luck fixing it.

I have a toshiba 55inch theaterview and we were watching it then shut it off and the next day tried to turn it on and nothing other than a flashing red light at the power button

We have the same problem. Our TV light flashes, but will not turn on. First time it happened, the TV came on when I unplugged it and later plugged it back in. This time, nothing. Any help is appreciated.

power will go on for a short while (second or longer) and turn off, power light
will start flashing. the only thing i can do is unplug the tv and latter plug it back
in again. Sometimes this will work and good for while, and sometimes it will not. Any advice will be welcomed.
