Question about Computers & Internet
No lights on the hard drive, but light on the transformer. Any ideas?
Hi, mmm that's a curly one....possibly a faulty cable from the transformer to the drive or faulty connection. How does it connect to the drive itself? Does it have pins? If so maybe one is bent.
I am assuming that the transformer is the one that came with the drive also, else the voltage may be wrong.
Does the drive have like a lock mechanism like for transportation?
Also if it's new or under warranty returning it for replacement might be an option too.
