Your electric space heater works by using a quartz infrared element, something that can eventually burn out due to use/defects. To fix your space heater, you will have to get another element specific to your model fostoria. While I did a quick search online, I could not find any matches to a replacement, but you can still call the company for one. Before calling, though, check to see if your heater is still under warranty, probably 1 to 2 years. The number for fostoria is 1-800-495-4525. Best of luck.
well more information on heater would help can't help with limited info even make or model and a quick step by step what its doing would help and if its brand new why not take it back if portable or call installation company and get swapped for new, all heaters should have at least a year warranty on them so get it fixed for free under warranty. Also for someone to help you here you need to give more info on heater i could write out pages and pages on why it may not be going to cover all heaters and all heater problems, e.g. if its a gas heater and runs 2 flu's they may be crossed over, or it may be goin out on a electrcal fault but is it electric or gas or reverse cycle heat pump, is it wood or just a car heater the range is so vast so need more information thank you
I just had the SAME problem with an Aloha Breeze Tower model # 02044, mine just buzzed, sparks started coming out and it smoked! Fried and dead -- could have burnt my house down! Scary made in China JUNK! :-( Beware!!!
I had the same problem and found it to be the thermal overload relay to be bad. Called Aloha Housewares at 800-295-4448 and they said that they do not sell parts to the public and Iwould have to send it in.
