Question about Motorola Mobility RAZR V3m Cellular Phone
I replaced a cracked LCD screen in my RAZR V3M and now the screens both stay on when the lid is closed. Everything works normally except even when the flip is closed the outside LCD displays the verizon logo as though it were open. This drains the battery rather quickly. I've been unable to find the switch/mechanism that lets the phone know when the lid is closed. Any help would be appreciated.
In the top right corner you are suppose to have a little circular magnet that changes the screen when the phone is open or closed. I just changed my housing yesterday and took the magnet out and put it in my new housing but for some reason i have the same problem as you. so maybe you lost the magnet when you replaced the lcd and if that is the case then you are screwed. try have Motorola fix it, don't tell them you replaced the lcd
