Ariston (bo 2320 ai uk) built in fridge has ice

check your coils for dust lint...hair if it is all clean then it must be a defrost problem look for the defrost timer it is a box with 5-6 wires on it and a hole about 1/4 inch with a flat screw in it this box can be anywhere inside or out by compressor or the ceiling of the fridge under a cover or behind the toe kick keep looking all fridges have one it's just hard to find once you find it use a flat screw driver to turn it .....it will only turn one way turn it until you hear it click plug fridge in for 30 minuets you should hear compressor start (you may hear sounds and hopefully you see a glow-watch for it coming from freezer not to worry) if the compressor did not start replace timer ...if there was no glow or sounds like drops of water on a hot stove you will need to let the fridge defrost over night with doors open then take screws out of back panel and remove panel to get to the element and termination switch (the component inline with element)your in it now so go for the works(replace both)
