How to clear history of tabs and margins to start over on the Brother GX-6750

Unfortunately, I don't think you can reset all of the margins and tabs at once. To reset a specific margin, move to that margin and then press ALT and the 6 key simultaneously. (That's the Margin Release.) If you are resetting the left margin, press the backspace (or space) key until you reach the new margin location. Then press Alt + 7 (L Margin) to set the new margin. For the right margin, press space (or backspace) until you reach the new margin location. Now, press Alt + 8 to set the new right margin location.

You can clear all of the tabs by pressing and holding Alt + 0 (tab clear) for over half a second.

The manual for the GX-6750 is available from Brother on the product support site: . Click on the Manuals & Documents tab. The direct link to the manual (in English) is / The procedure to set the margins is on page 2. The procedure to set the tabs is on page 5.

I hope this helps.

I cannot remove the tabs that are set. I am following the instructions in the booklet but nothing is happening

You didn't give a model, but generally tab to ant tab, press tab clear. You may be trying to clear the R. margin.

How can I get printer ribbons for this Brother ML 100 typewriter? Can you give me the code #?

The Brother ML100 uses the BRT 1030. There are several supplies available like the lift off tape, the daisy wheel and of course the printing cassette.

check it out:

Good luck and if you need anything you can always call or email.

My set margins and tabs clear from memory when I turn off the typewriter.

I was able to reach someone at Brother. He said that the typewriter does not store the margins and tabs. Seems unusual to me, but I guess I will have to take his word for it unless someone out there knows something different.

Move the printhead to the position you want a tab set. Then hold down the CODE key and hit the key under where T SET is printed above the keys on the keyboard. Do this for every tab you want to set. If you want to clear a tab set, tab to the one you want to remove and hold down the CODE key and hit the key under T CLR.

Brother ML100 Typewriter:All of the sudden, it just won't type. It seems the 'hammer' doesn't hit the daisywheel. We've replaced the daisywheel, corrective tape, ribbon and still it goes through the...

Ok,there could be two possibilities ,1, The daisy wheel may not be seated in properly. Of course I assume that the print side of the daisy wheel is facing the platen and that when the typewriter is switched on the print unit makes its customary re-setting motion and that the daisy wheel spins around at the same time. if this does not happen make sure that the lock-in lever for the daisy wheel is pushed home.. I am sure that you do all these elementary things so the only other possibility is the the hammer seleniod is not fully functioning and would have to be re-placed....Good luck!
