This usually means there's a problem with the speaker wiring. You may have a defective speaker; your speakers may be mis-wired, or one of the wires may be shorted against vehicle metal. Disconnect all the speakers from the deck and see if the error message still comes up then try to dissconnect it from battery power (It must be work as 99%). If it does, then the deck is defective. If not, re-connect the speakers one at a time until you identify the one that's putting the deck into "protect" mode.
