Does it do this with any other browser or just Firefox? Try another browser and that will tell you if it is just a setting problem in Firefox or not. If unable to print on any browser then hook the printer directly to the mac with a usb cable and try re-installing the printer.

When I try to print something from my Mac running OS 10.6.7 i get the message that a pipe is broken, and all that prints out is a Error: Syntaxerror OFFENDING COMMAND: true cvt 0fpgm glyf ...

Hi, From what I can make out, you have a corrupted font. The 'true cvt 0fpgm glyf' part refers to a true type thingie The /sfnts is a Mac-speak for system font.
Try the Mac forums for the font issues. Good luck.

My canon has an error b200 and it doesn't print or do anything I command.

Well every advice is the same except a little altered (use a warm cotton swab to clean inside machine and on print head channels) but then it says if possible replace print head but honestly this has become a primitive Machine for turning humans into corpses - buy a new one.

I have a Mac OS X 10.6.4 & an HP Deskjet HP 4480 Printer. The printer works fine for copying and for printing from the computer, but, when I try to scan something into the computer, everything works...

I had the same problem, found out that you should not install the disk that came with the printer. If you do it won't scan. The drivers are already in Mac OSX. You have to uninstall whatever you installed...throw the disk away. To scan go to System Preferences, click printer, then scanner button and it works. Hope this helps!

Hi. To make sure that the product hardware is functioning correctly, use the product to make a photocopy. If you cannot make a copy, this solution will not help resolve the issue.

Solution 1:
Follow these steps to restart the product and the computer. NOTE: Make sure that the product connects directly to an electrical outlet and not through a surge protector or power strip.
  1. Shut down the computer.
  2. Press the Power button to turn off the product.
  3. Wait 10 seconds.
  4. Restart the computer.
  5. Press the Power button to turn the product back on.
  6. Try the scan again
Solution 2

1. Replace the USB cable.
2 .Try the scan again.

Solution 3
Fully uninstall and resintall the software and driver of Kodak printer

Workaround:

Try installing the printer to Windows XP environment just to prove functionality and test incompatibility issues. Might be your printer is icompatible with MAC OS. This will also prove if printer is working or not.

Hp officejet 6110xi all in one

I did a search of your product's help pages on HP.com but didn't come up with an exact match for your error message relevant to an Apple Mac OS X. Before offering suggestions, let me make sure I understand the problem.

You have a Word document open on your Mac and you want to insert an image into the document that's on the scanner.

I'm actually not clear as to whether you successfully scanned an image in the first place. If you did scan the image, where did you store it to? Have you tried scanning the image and saving it to your computer? If you can do this successfully, try inserting the image into your Word document from the location on your computer.

If you tried to scan an image and got the error message, then there is a communication problem between your Mac and the printer. Since you can print, the cable connection must be good. If the error message is suggesting that you reinstall the drivers, you can find the instructions for how to do this at the following web page at HP.com:

Installing and Uninstalling Printer Software on your Mac

You may or may not have your original software disc that came with the printer. If you don't or if you need an updated print driver, you can download that software from the following web page, assuming you are running Mac OS X:

Mac OS X Printer Software and Driver Downloads

Occasionally, you can solve errors by installing print drivers that are more recent than those you originally installed when you first got your printer. That's the benefit of downloading the latest drivers from HP.

On the off change you are using Mac OS 9, here's the relevant software download page (the version of the Mac operating system matters):

Mac OS 9 Printer Software and Driver Downloads

If all you want to do is to insert an image into a Word document, you shouldn't need Adobe Photoshop or any other expensive software application. You aren't trying to do any fancy editing of the graphic, just insert a pre-existing image into a document.

I hope some of the above suggestions help. Post back your results and good luck.
