Question about Televison & Video
Can u pls help. I have purchased a Pacific DVD 1002MK2 from Asda.
I have heard that they can be converted to Multiregion easily(I have some Region 1 DVDs). However I have been on two websites, DVD Reviewer and AllDVDcodes.com, yet when I follow their instructions, nothing happens.
Press Open/Close on remote, press Clear, press 1 then 3 then 6 then 9,
followed by 0, then press Open/Close again.
Alternative instructions: press Setup on the remote, then 7, then Pause/Step, then Previous, then Next, then Setup.
I cannot get either method to work. Actually I can get the Setup menu up on my TV screen, but after that there is no response when I type the rest in. I have noticed that the Setup menus don't appear to allow you to type numbers in. Also the Pause and Step buttons are two separate buttons on my remote. I take it the Previous and Next keys are the < and > keys on the centre of the remote?
Whatever, if it is possible to make this player multiregion, how do I do it?
Regards, Geoff Bratt

2. Press the 'clear' button.
3. Press '1'.
4. Press '3'.
5. Press '6'.
6 Press '9'.
7. Press '0' (zero for multi-region).
8. Press 'open/close' button.
1. switch on dvd with remote (leave drawer closed)
2. Press: setup
3. press: 7 (note nothing will happen)
4. press: pause/setup button (again nothing will happen)
5. press: previous/I<< button (nothing will happen)
