Question about Sony Playstation 3 (PS3) Console
For the last few days Gran Turismo 4 as been working fine on my ps3. However when i tried it as usual most recently the game didn't load and it stayed on a blank screen and my controller couldn't even pick it up. I tried more PS2 games and got the same problem. Is this the PS3 problem or has the ps3 suddenly changed the settings to an incompatible mode. Please help me!
I also had this problem running PS2 games. I noticed that when it happened, my bluetooth remotes becames unpaired and could no longer be used to turn the PS3 on/off. Pressing the PS button would not interrupt the hung PS2 game (i.e., it would not give me the options to quit the game, turn the system/controller off, etc.). I talked with the Sony Playstation folks and they suggested resetting the bluetooth controllers (by poking the hole on the backside next to the screw hole). They said sometimes the bluetooth info gets honked. Just before this problem popped up, I was messing around with pairing a bluetooth headset and may have interrupted the pairing. You may have a similar situation, so try resetting your controllers. You may have to plug into the USB port if they won't re-pair after resetting (I did). Good luck!
