Question about Computers & Internet
HP Compaq 6910P - memory error messages "pop up" when using various applications, including MS Excel.
Is this related to hardware, OS or software problem
It could be either one of them. It is hard to tell without actually having the computer here. This may sound crazy but make sure your hard drive is not full. Windows uses a swap file that grows each time your computer is powered up and then deleted when powered down. If your hard drive is getting full it has been known to generate memory errors especially when using memory intense programs such as excel and programs like photoshop. Do a system cleanup and defrag your hard drive. Hope these suggestions work!
