I have just bought replacement battery for my samsung c3050 which is not keeping its charge very long. The battery supplier advises to put phone in standby mode. What is this please?

the 3050 dosn't have a standby mode only an idle witch is the mode when you turn it on but dont access any af the features or web/calls you will probably find if you completly charge and discharge the phone a few times the battery will hold a better charge if not i'd send it back and ask for a refund as the battery is likely faulty

Battery dies within 24 hours

Hi, what makes the phone battery to die to quickly, is because the battery cell to weak and almost damaged completely and it's unable to power the phone for too long.

The battery cell is damaged. So you will need to replace the battery with a new battery.

You can go to any phone store around your area and get a new battery to replace the old battery.

When a new battery is is purchased, usually comes with a factory battery life whic is not yet fully charged. You will need to charge the battery for longer hour before use.

After purchasing a new battery, make sure you take time out to charge the battery properly for about 4 to 6 hour before use, otherwise battery cell can go flat again in no time.

Hope that helped.

Thanks for using fixya...

The battery life in my lg KC910 is not lasting very long, I bought a new battery and this is just the same, any help please

These are the specifications:

Standby time hours :320hr(2G), 350(3G)
Talk time hours :220min(2G), 220min(3G)

If you take photos and listen to music then it will last less.
These values are an estimate of how long the battery should last.

If you are not getting these values then return the phone.

Bought my phone yesterday...Battery was losing charge quickly.. battery was down to half charge after about 15 minutes of fully charging.. Was trying to let the phone die completley then fully charge it,...

Ok first of all you should never let a phone die out of charge at all.IF it dies out of charge there are chances it might charge again once you charge it but in some cases it wont, you need to boost your battery just like jump start your car.It cannot be done anywhere except some service centre. If you are not taking to your service center , then you need to buy a new battery.

My MOTOKRZR K1 battery/phone will not stay charged very long.

Let ur phone completely die. Don't charge it or anything when the low battery notice comes on. After it completely dies, put it on the charger only until it says charge complete. U might have to do it a few times to get ur battery performing as it should. If you charge ur battery too often, it causes ur battery to swell (weird I know) and your battery starts resisting charge. Hope this helps!! (I used to have the same phone and the same problem. I did this, and now my mom is using the phone and has an exceptional battery time)

it depends on what you use your phone for, if you play music non stop, it wont last more than 5 hours. but if that hapens on standby, then you should take it to a service center to have it fixed
